Sareeta Spriggs is a public servant, speaker, coach and a champion for women.
She wants people to recognize their God-given talents and use them to achieve greatness in their lives. Over the years, Sareeta has received numerous awards such as the Hampton Roads Inside Business Journal Top 40 under 40; the National Urban League East Coast Young Professional of the Year and most recently she received the 2018 Strayer University Outstanding Alumni award.
She holds a BS degree in Biology and Information Systems from Norfolk State University and a Master of Business Administration from Stayer University. Sareeta is also a graduate of the United Way’s Diversity and Board Governance Program; The National Urban League’s Emerging Leader Program and the Capital City Fellows Program. Sareeta served as Deputy Director of Operations and Finance in the Executive Office of D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser. She now works on Capitol Hill as an Analyst.
She is founder of Ladies LEAD, a leadership development organization and she also created Mayor Bowser’s LEAD DC internship program. She is currently at work on a woman’s empowerment group.
