Member’s Corner

You are now apart of our network!

We are the premier social networking organization for Hampton Roads Black Young Professionals. You get out what you put in, so join us for an upcoming event! Due to Covid -19, all our events or held virtually, to remain connected.

About Us

Our Goal

We are here to create new experiences, with new people, while growing personally and professionally. We have created a community to bring you together with equally passionate people ready for something new. A few things to remember:

It’s Our Community. As we build this community together, we have opportunities to share exclusive information, targeted polls, and virtual and in person events.

There are several ways to network. As we host virtual and in person events, you can connect with members, provide referrals, and continue to grow your network. Our Facebook group, “Hampton Roads Black Young Professionals” is another resource to connect with a larger audience of black professionals in the 757. It’s important to create your profile in our directory so you can share your niche, industry and/or contact information so you can continue to connect with members.

How You Can Stay Connected

Attend a Virtual or In Person Event

You get out of the organization what you put in. We expect members to get involved by attending our local events. We host a variety of member-only, public events, volunteer opportunities, and personal and professional development events where you can socialize, network, and connect with other change-makers.

Create a Profile in our
Membership Directory

Your profile will allow other members to read a brief bio, view an updated photo and find out how to connect with you to collaborate, share employment opportunities, vendor opportunities, or simply build your network with other professionals.

Join our Monthly Connect Call

Call in with other members to network, provide updates, get best practices and advice, share upcoming events, and connect to see how we can support, collaborate, or encourage our Connect Community.
