I am originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland, where I met my wife of almost 8 years. I left home after high school and attended Morgan State University, in Baltimore, Maryland. After doing more partying than studying I decided to take my talents to the United States Navy. After serving 9 years and two degrees (yes, I finally did more studying than partying) later I was recruited to a financial firm through a military externship. I currently reside in the Chesapeake/Virginia Beach Area, where my wife and I raise our two children.
I work with great families and first-generation business owners to organize their finances, and to protect their greatest asset -Cash Flow in efforts to AVOID FINANCIAL FAILURE. All too often, my clients wanted better out of life but did not necessarily know how to develop a process to achieve those results. I became that resource to EDUCATE, and by implementing a financial plan, we discover and evade events that could derail them from FINANCIAL SUCCESS.
When I first began my career as an advisor, I found that in every networking event, I was one of a few. That can feel very daunting at first, which led me to try to find a way to better assist my community. This led me to find a like-minded individual named Verlaine Quinniey. I support her and The Connect 757 with various social events, where I serve as Social Events co-Chair. I also service the local community as a board member for Arts for Learning VA.
My credentials include a Master’s of Science in Accounting and Financial Services from Liberty University, a General Securities Representative (Series 7), Investment Advisor Representative (Series 66), and a Greenbelt Six Sigma certification.
