Summer is HERE! We’re headed outside!

Every summer, The Connect 757 hosts a Summer Outdoor Adventure Series and this year is no different. The Summer Outdoor Adventure series allows you step outside of your comfort zone with other black professionals in Hampton Roads. In the past, we’ve been horseback riding, paddle-boarding, ziplining, hiking and usually throw a kickball game or two in there!

This summer, we have teamed up with Sam Caballero, the Founder of Swim with Sam, to host 1 hour Introductory Adult Swim Lessons. If you do not know how to swim, today is the day to cross out that fear, and take the first steps to learn. Sam will be focusing on a few things in the introductory course to include:

  1. Demystifying Floating
  2. Breathing Cheat Codes
  3. Break Down Aquatic Fears
  4. Water Safety Skills

This introductory course will be held in a private swimming pool for a small group of no more than 10 attendees. If you are interested in continuing lessons with Sam, signing up the family, or even getting your kids lessons, she will be happy to go over price structure on additional lessons moving forward.

Please come dressed in your swimsuit ready to begin and bring a towel.

Join us for one of the introductory swim classes this summer!

  1. I am here and I have paid for the lesson. Now I go to your website and the event has been canceled. Do I get my money back…plus fees?

    1. Hi Gena! Yes, I sent two emails this morning explaining that it would be canceled. You have the option of moving to the July 23rd date or receiving a refund. Our apologies on any inconvenience this may have caused.
